Dr Carole Allan
Clinical Psychologist
MA (Hons) Psychology, University of Edinburgh, M Phil in Clinical Psychology, PhD, University of Glasgow, Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, Chartered with the British Psychological Society

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, working within NHS Psychology services in both clinical and university settings in the West of Scotland, including Occupational Health. I have extensive experience of working with people who have a range of psychological problems including anxiety, depression and stress related conditions.

I have found that CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) can be one of the most effective ways of helping people deal with these problems in their everyday life and work.

I am a registered with the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC) which regulates Clinical Psychologists. The HCPC register is a public, online, list of healthcare practitioners who meet standards of ethics, practice and continued professional development. I am also chartered with the British Psychological Society.
The title of Chartered Psychologist is legally recognised and reflects only the highest standard of psychological knowledge and expertise.
