"Life can throw many things at us, sometimes we need help finding new ways of coping and sometimes we just need to offload knowing someone is hearing us. Whether you need help dealing with everyday stresses or you’re feeling the burden of carrying guilt or shame. I’m here to help ease that burden or help develop new ways of managing life. I work in a very integrative way; I believe strongly that we are all different and that what works for one person might not work for another.
By pulling from different styles of therapy I can tailor each session to your individual needs. I would say my main base is CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) which is essentially a mesh of talk therapies based on the theory that thoughts, feelings, what we do and how our body feels are all connected. If we change just one of these, then everything changes. I have a diploma in counselling and groupwork as well as being a member of BABCP which I have held for three years now. "
