SCOTACS Diploma in Counselling & Groupwork - a Cognitive Behavioural Approach, BSc Psychology (hons), COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills

Hello I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working out of the Centre of Therapy in Glasgow. I have experience of working with a range of presenting issues including:
• Depression
• Anxiety and panic disorders
• Low self-esteem
• Domestic abuse
• Addiction
• Bereavement
• Coping with Dementia
• Trauma

Although I use a predominately CBT approach I often draw on other modalities to make sure the treatment approach is right for you. I have professional insurance, an up to date PVG and I am regulated by the BABCP codes of conduct and ethics.

For the past 5 years I have worked as a Family Support Worker and have a keen interest in working with parent’s experiencing family problems.

I also have experience of designing and delivering group work on topics such as wellbeing, anxiety, depression and gambling addiction.

I believe in the power of therapy and feel that everyone should have access to the right kind of support when they need it therefore I offer a reduced rate to client’s on low-income or those experiencing financial difficulties.
