About me:

I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) having completed a CBT Diploma in Counselling and Group work. I am based in Glasgow, insured and am registered with the BABCP and adhere to their code of ethics.

I work from the Centre of Therapy, am passionate about helping others overcome difficulties in their lives and I seek to build continuous improvement in my skills and approach. I have an interest in helping individuals with issues around panic, anxiety and health anxiety and overcoming obstacles in their lives whether personally or at work. I can help you construct a personal plan that will work towards transforming the way that you think and act. This will enable you to take steps to make improvements with any difficulties that you may be experiencing.


About CBT sessions:

CBT is a structured, goal orientated and solution focused approach that focuses on present teaching of strategies for future enabling of client self-healing. I offer a safe and fully confidential space for us to work collaboratively to identify problems and formulate goals for therapy. We will use structured sessions and employ tools and techniques to help you to facilitate change in thoughts, feelings and behaviour to assist you to have a different view of your situation and issues that you bring to therapy. Although I lead from a CBT perspective I use other theoretical approaches covered over the course of the two-year Diploma to compliment CBT tools including: Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Attachment Theory, Transactional Analysis, Personal Construct Psychology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Gestalt and Psychosynthesis.
